The UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia is inviting applications for the following consultancy: UNFPA seeks the services of a skilled Communications personnel to support UNFPA Communications unit.
One Individual Consultant
The assignment is to support the implementation of the country office communication strategy and to increase knowledge and awareness of the target audience about UNFPA’s work
The communication consultant will be responsible for the following key results and deliverables under the supervision of the Programme Analyst Partnership and Advocacy.
- Manages with the UN volunteer all aspect of communication for the Country Office including press releases, maintenance of CO website, newsletter, informational materials (brochures, flyers etc) and social media platforms.
- Ensuring external communication and media coverage of program activities, promoting UNFPA products and services using CO’s social media platforms and other media in collaboration with the UN volunteer
- Support the Program Analyst Partnerships and Advocacy to produce a monthly political/environmental scanning brief and summary of key results from the Country office.
