The UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia is looking for qualified and interested consultant(s) to support the development of The Gambia Programme of Action for Youth (GPAY). The GPAY serves as the foundation and reference point for the development of national policies and programs aimed at promoting youth empowerment and development. It provides a comprehensive and strategic framework that guides government and other stakeholders in their efforts to address the diverse needs and challenges facing young people in The Gambia. The existence of this action plan underscores the government's commitment to ensuring that youth issues are given the attention and resources they deserve, and that young people are meaningfully engaged and included in the country's socio-economic development agenda. The consultant(s) will be responsible for developing the GPAY in close collaboration with UNFPA and The National Youth Council.
