The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is the lead United Nations agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. The UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia is inviting applications for the following consultancy: UNFPA seeks the services of a skilled Individual Consultant for Staff capacity development.
One Individual Consultant
The assignment is to enhance both individual and team leadership, strength emotional intelligence, psychological safety for improved programme delivery and results.
The consultancy will be responsible to:
• Assess staff needs and capacity through individual interviews.
• Develop a training plan to strengthen team bonding, emotional intelligence and create a platform for a psychologically safe workspace.
• Identify staff that require coaching for growth and develop a plan to support their needs.
Consultants should have relevant postgraduate qualification in related fields. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in staff capital management and development. Evidence of conducting similar assignments successfully. Have good writing and interpretation skills. Good knowledge of the UN and UNFPA in particular. Solid analytical and presentation skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
