The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is the lead United Nations agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. The UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia is inviting applications for the following internship openings:

  • Maternal Health and Family Planning
  • Youth and Innovation

The intern positions are located at the UNFPA Country Office. The selected candidates will report to the Programme Analyst Sexual and Reproductive Health and the Programme Analyst Adolescents and Youth respectively, with specific working relations with other Programme staff.

Though NOT staff members of UNFPA, the Interns will work as part of a team, led by the UNFPA Representative. They will work in close collaboration with the Programmes Team to ensure effective support to the Country Office on various programmatic issues.

  2. Promoting adolescents and youth sexual and reproductive health
  3. Innovative approach to improving out-of-school Comprehensive Sexuality Education
