The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is the lead United Nations agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. The UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia is inviting applications for the following consultancy:
- Individual Consultant to Develop a Gambia-specific Out of School Comprehensive Sexuality Education Training Manual.
The manual should cover materials for adolescents and youth aged 15-24 years and will be a general manual for young people. However, it should also have specific modules for persons living with disability, young people living with HIV and young people who are sex workers.
A core group of young people will be given comprehensive training on sexual and reproductive health including adolescents for them to serve as a pool of facilitators and resource persons.
